Known for its bold flavors and fresh, premium ingredients, Newk’s Eatery is opening three new restaurants for Mobile, Alabama, diners in the coming months. Joining Newk’s existing location at the intersection of Azalea Road and Airport Boulevard, the fast-casual brand this week opened a new location in McGowin Park Shopping Center on Monday, November 16, to be followed closely by the opening of a third restaurant at Westgate Pavillion on Airport Boulevard near the Schillinger Road intersection. In addition to the three metro Mobile area locations, Newk’s will soon also be expanding to the Eastern Shore for the first time with the unveiling of a final restaurant in the Eastern Shore Centre in Spanish Fort.

Sourcing the finest, freshest ingredients available—including imported cheeses and prime meats, sushi-grade fish, hand-chopped seasonal vegetables, house-roasted garlic, homemade dressings, and house-infused olive oils—Newk’s guarantees every meal is served fresh and served fast. The restaurant’s made-from-scratch menu boasts a wide range of imaginative entrées and re-invented old favorites, including time-tested family recipes from Newk’s founding family, the Newcombs. Newk’s handcrafts each of its fresh-tossed salads, artisan pizzas, hot toasted sandwiches, kettle batch soups, and scratch-made desserts.
Located in McGowin Park Shopping Center at 1335 Satchel Paige Drive, Newk’s newest Mobile restaurant offers indoor dining for 154 guests and patio dining for 42 more in its 4,447 square-foot space. Coming soon, Newk’s Eatery’s third Mobile area location will be opening in the Westgate Pavilion at 7440 Airport Boulevard with indoor and patio dining available for 190 guests in its roughly 4,600 square-foot space. Including Newk’s upcoming Eastern Shore location in Spanish Fort, all three opening restaurants will provide job opportunities for a total of roughly 150 local applicants.
The Jackson, Mississippi–based Newk’s Eatery currently has approximately 90 locations in 13 states and plans to expand to more than 200 units by the end of 2018. The brand was recently named one of QSR magazine’s “Best Franchise Deals.”
