There’s no question that technology has helped improve the limited-service restaurant experience. Whether it’s back-of-house technology that streamlines the food preparation process or front-of-house technology that engages the customers, tech tools have become essential components to a successful restaurant operation.

At QSR, we want to recognize the best technology to help you find what works for your brand. That’s why, after a six-year hiatus, we’re bringing back the QSR Applied Tech Awards, an awards program that highlights the most innovative technology out there today—from mobile apps and touch-screen kiosks to drive-thru line-busters and smart equipment enhancements.

We’ll be recognizing products in two categories: Consumer Facing/Front of House, which is technology used primarily by the restaurant's customers; and Crew Facing/Back of House, which is technology used primarily by the restaurant's employees.

Deadline for submissions is the end of the day on November 19. We’ll reveal the winners of the 2016 QSR Applied Technology Awards in our January issue. Contact Sam Oches at sam@qsrmagazine.com with any questions.
