To celebrate the grand opening of its first location in Schaumburg, Illinois, Salata will give away a free salad or salad wrap and signature drink to each of the first 50 guests in line beginning at 11a.m. on Thursday, October 29.

Salata offers a selection of more than 50 fresh, pure ingredients including an array of lettuces, vegetables, fruits, cheeses, seeds, nuts, chicken, seafood, and vegan proteins to create fully customizable salads or salad wraps. Each location is certified gluten-free, and all of Salata’s dressings, soups, and sauces are house-made and preservative-free.

The new 2,555-square-foot restaurant is locally owned and operated by Salata franchisee Dan Campbell, who also owns and operates another Chicago-area location in Wheeling, Illinois.

“Salata’s fresh take on the fast casual experience gives guests both a healthy variety and great value,” said Campbell. “The Schaumburg location brings the community a new dining option with endless healthy choices for a quick lunch or on-the-go dinner.”

The Schaumburg Salata features the company’s newly unveiled restaurant design with all-natural building materials such as dark mango-stained wood panels, subway tile, stone countertops, and glass features. It will also have a state-of-the-art tea tap system that delivers Salata’s signature teas and lemonades through a system much like a beer tap.

The new restaurant is the growing chain’s 52nd location nationwide.
