Development continues for Boardwalk Fries Burgers Shakes as it opens is fourth location in Calgary on 8th Street SW in Airdrie, Alberta.
This expansion continues Boardwalk’s Master Franchisee’s aggressive development of this Calgary territory. Airdrie, Boardwalk’s newest location, is a growing community, hosting a variety of annual family events such as the Christmas Festival of Lights, the Canada Day Parade, and the Airdrie Pro Rodeo. Boardwalk will serve this community well with its varied, family-friendly atmosphere, and menu.
The brand is also planning its fifth location in Cochrane, Alberta, located 18 kilometers west of the Calgary city limits. Cochrane has is the second largest town of Alberta, with a population of 17,580. Cochrane offers welcoming western culture to its residents and visitors alike. Known as a popular destination for ice cream and coffee, Boardwalk’s plans are to complement the town’s food offerings with its family friendly menu, including its famous Boardwalk Fries and fresh, never-frozen burgers. Opening is planned for February 2016.
