Bowl of Heaven—the innovative concept which serves up delicious açaí bowls, smoothies, and cold-pressed juices that feature plant protein and super food ingredients— has announced the signing of a three-unit franchise deal for territories in its home state of California.

Bowl Of Heaven has partnered with Fransmart, the development company responsible for the explosive growth of brands like Five Guys and Qdoba Mexican Grill, to expand through franchising. The brand now has more than 50 units in development across California and Nevada.

The new franchisee, Alda Au-Yeung, worked with Fransmart vice president of sales, Al Rowe, and Fransmart director of development, Cam Le, on her agreement, and is currently evaluating locations in the hopes to open as soon as possible. The plan is to open the first of the three units at a location in La Canada, and subsequent locations each year in her remaining franchise territory, which also includes Pasadena, Burbank, and La Crescenta.

Of the decision to partner with Bowl Of Heaven, Au-Yeung says, “After I had a taste of my first Bowl Of Heaven in Westlake Village, I was hooked. I currently drive up to an hour to the nearest Bowl Of Heaven from me, so I can’t wait to open a location in my own area. I’m also excited about the opportunity to provide healthy food options for the people in my community.”

Bowl of Heaven is a revolutionary concept in the fast-casual industry as it is poised to overtake various segments in the space including healthy meal replacement, clean eating, and cold-pressed juicing.

“It’s unlike any other açaí bowl out there,” Au-Yeung says. “The fresh ingredients and healthy add-ons make it a complete and nutritious meal.”
