Fazoli’s, the premium Italian quick-service restaurant, is again elevating its menu with Signature Cheddar Alfredo Bakes, three savory dishes with upscale flavors combining cavatappi pasta with a generous mix of Alfredo and Cheddar cheese sauces, shredded Cheddar, Mozzarella, and Provolone cheeses, along with diced chicken tenders, meatballs, and Italian sausage, or beef and bacon. These hearty entrees are available for a limited time at participating locations starting September 29 for $6.99.
Cavatappi, a spiral shaped pasta native to southern Italy, is making its first appearance on Fazoli’s increasingly imaginative menu. The addition of cavatappi follows the successful limited-time Stuffed Pasta Selects, a collection of flavorful dishes made from sacchetti pasta.
All three Signature Cheddar Alfredo Bakes combine cavatappi pasta, Cheddar cheese sauce, Alfredo sauce, bruschetta tomatoes, shredded Cheddar, Mozzarella, and Provolone cheeses. Italian Supreme Cheddar Alfredo Bake includes meatballs and Italian sausage. Classic Cheddar Alfredo Bake with Beef and Bacon adds beef and bacon pieces. Broccoli Cheddar Alfredo Bake with Chicken features diced chicken tenders and seasoned broccoli.
“Today’s diners demand more than the typical pasta dishes found on many Italian chain menus,” says Carl Howard, Fazoli’s president and CEO. “With the addition of our special cavatappi pasta, we’re offering our guests another innovative, indulgent, premium product with distinctive flavor profiles at a price far below what they’d find anywhere else.”
Signature Cheddar Alfredo Bakes satisfy the tastes of diners who crave “baked cheesy goodness,” Howard adds. “Fazoli’s guests gave high marks to the menu item, when it was tested this summer, and they continue to respond favorably to other products with unique ingredients and flavors.”
