Marco’s Pizza, the fastest growing pizza franchise in the United States, is targeting the Rocky Mountain states for growth. With 15 franchise locations already open and operating throughout Colorado and Wyoming, the company has announced plans to open more than 35 additional locations through strategic franchise partnerships in the coming years. The new franchise locations will create approximately 700 new jobs.

The new Marco’s Pizzas will open under the leadership of Big Cheese Colorado Inc. Led by Area Representative and multiunit franchisee Chase Kintz, Big Cheese owns and operates 11 of the 15 locations in the region. Kintz is actively seeking qualified franchise partners to open restaurants in Colorado and Wyoming. Already working toward the goal of introducing 35 new locations in the next five years, there is currently one in development in Greeley, Colorado.

“With an intimate knowledge of the Marco’s brand and extensive experience in the restaurant industry, our development team is well positioned to grow in the region,” Kintz says. “We are eager to find local business leaders to bring this growing concept to their town. With their help, pizza lovers throughout the mountain states will quickly find out that ours is unlike any other pizza franchise out there. Our product is hands-down the best quality and our customer service outmatches the competition.”

Targeted development markets in Wyoming, which Kintz and other area representatives are actively seeking franchise partners include Laramie, Casper, and Cheyenne, where Kintz looks to add five Marco’s Pizza locations. In Colorado, Northern Colorado and Summit County can each add five restaurants, Pueblo and Colorado Springs can add four restaurants, and Denver can add six restaurants.

“Both Colorado and Wyoming are experiencing a booming economy, thanks in part to the technology and oil industries. This area proves to be an exciting development region for Marco’s Pizza,” says Cameron Cummins, vice president of franchise development. “The families that call the Rocky Mountains their home are always seeking out something better than what existed yesterday, and with our high quality, fresh ingredients, and topnotch customer service, that is what Marco’s Pizza provides. I am confident in the team’s ability to grow the Marco’s Pizza brand, expanding our footprint throughout key markets across the Rocky Mountain states.”

As the only national franchise chain founded by a native Italian, Marco’s Pizza has carved out a niche in the industry as the expert in authentic Italian pizza, known for its fresh never-frozen dough made daily on site, a proprietary cheese blend that is fresh never-frozen and a secret pizza sauce recipe. With plans to open 175 new stores this year, the 600-plus unit company is on track to quadruple its store count in the coming five to seven years. Averaging at least one store opening every other day, the franchise is offering prospects exciting opportunities to be a part of the company’s nationwide growth.
