The Lenten Season is fast approaching, and Church’s Chicken is pleased to offer a variety of Lent-friendly menu options starting on Monday, February 8.

While supplies last, guests can enjoy Church’s new Lemon-Seasoned Butterfly Shrimp and Crispy Fish, choosing from tender, marinated shrimp or flaky white fish filets, fried up to a golden brown and finished with the perfect blend of zesty lemon herb seasoning. Also new to the menu for a limited time, are Hush Puppy Biscuit Bites, crisp and tender hush puppies made from Church’s signature biscuit dough.

“Church’s isn’t defined solely by our world-class chicken. Guests love and anticipate our longstanding tradition of serving seafood during the Lenten season,” says Jennifer Chasteen, senior director of brand and product strategy for Church’s Chicken. “Lent is a great time for a change of pace and we’re excited to offer these brand new seafood selections as well as our scratch-made Hush Puppy Biscuit Bites.”

Options include the choice of eight Lemon Seasoned Butterfly Shrimp or two Lemon Seasoned Crispy Fish Filets plus Small Fries, and three Hush Puppy Biscuit Bites. A Family Fish Fry offering will also be available that features eight Crispy Fish Filets, a Family-Size order of Fries and 12 Hush Puppy Biscuit Bites.

“We expect the Lemon-Seasoned Shrimp and Crispy Fish Filets will be a welcome menu addition that guests will be anxious to see again in the future,” Chasteen says. “Not to mention the Hush Puppy Biscuit Bites, which also happen to pair perfectly with our signature hand-battered chicken. ”
